Home Fire Campaign – Free Smoke Alarms

AMERICAN RED CROSS - During a fire, early warning from a working smoke alarm plus a fire escape plan that has been practiced regularly can save lives. The American Red Cross is preparing households to act quickly through our Home Fire Campaign. Trained Red Cross educators provide tailored information on how to reduce home fire risks and work with you to develop an evacuation plan. Installers test any current smoke alarms and when needed install new ones.

You can drop a note in the city hall drop box, email us (cityofsumpteror@gmail.com), call us (541-894-2314), or send a letter to PO Box 68, Sumpter, OR 97877 with the required information listed above to get on the list. Please let us know by February 15, 2024, we will forward the list to the American Red Cross.
